Today I wanted to share 4 ways I love to wear a chambray top. These are great shirts and they are so versatile and classic! This is such a great addition to your wardrobe. A long time ago I came across this shirt, I left it in the store and I was still thinking about it so I went back and bought it. Then when I got it home I was like “okay now what…?” I Pinterest-ed it! Then I practiced using it and now it’s something I can’t live without!
1.) Denim on Denim
Some would say the Denim on Denim is hard to pull off. Paired with a fun shoe, with a french tuck and you’re all set. The thing that helps with this outfit is a brown belt it helps break the color up. Honestly I have a hard time wearing this time of outfit but it’s still a good outfit to try! It NEVER hurts to go outside your comfort zone to try.
2.) Denim with colored bottoms
I LOVE to do this with colored pencil skirts. It gives the outfit a slightly more informal look this would be so cute for the office or even church!
3.) Tied around my waist
I had a hard time getting into the whole “jean jacket” thing you’ll learn more about that later ahem, they were always stiff and the arms were never long enough. (stick around and you’ll find my arms are the hardest thing to dress!) This is a great way to do that whole jean jacket look but it’s much lighter and less in the way. This is a great look and I guess you don’t need the chambray top but I think it’s a really easy addition and it adds interest to your outfit!
4.) Open like a light Jacket
Again, I don’t like the heavy coat this is perfect for Tucson or even in the springtime and fall. Adding layers gives you’re clothing and outfit more interest. It doesn’t have to be complex. Don’t make it hard!
I wanted to share this last photo because HONESTLY I would just never wear shoes I am so much more comfortable without them on. Be Comfy and Chic my friends!
