I love the fall. I love the way the air feels when it’s starting to cool off and for my family it always seems to be the BEST time of year. We were married in October and Daxton was born in November 3 years later (not fall really) but still the day he was born was like a glorious fall feeling-y day. Today, I wanted to talk about the Pantone colors for fall and the colors and pieces that we can utilize and use year after year! There are quite a few colors for Fall but I am most interested in Martini Olive, Red Pear, Valiant Poppy, Meerkat, Sargasso Sea. Now these are colors you’ll be seeing a lot of but there are some others that are coming into the season that you can see now. Staples for fall ALWAYS are greens, yellows, reds etc. Green is one of my favorite colors to dress in, I think it’s universally flattering and is easily a great neutral. Textures that are uniquely fall are things like wools, suedes, leathers things that are more earthy I find more for fall. The other color is Sargasso Sea it’s a real rich navy, this color is beautiful!! I can see this color in a thick warm scarf or a long cardigan.
Okay, so lets talk about pieces for fall that just make for easy, chic outfits! Long Sleeve shirts, button up shirts, vest, lonnnng cardigans, leather jackets, anorak jackets, boots, leggings, and scarves. These are all the pieces many of us have.
You can use these pieces and integrate them into your wardrobe easily. Moto jackets are so in right now and I know this piece is a little bit more but if you’re not really into the whole “leather” thing the suede is a really fantastic option because it’s soft and supple you wear it more like a cardigan and less like a jacket. I hope this helps!!!
